Diclofenac diethylamine works to relieve pain and reduce inflammation (swelling). The extra strength formula penetrates deep into the skin to relieve joint, muscle, and muscle aches and pain. It should be used on the affected skin and around the eye. Do not apply to mucous membranes or other body areas that contain mucus. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details.
Wash and dry the affected area three days prior to use. Apply on the skin, twice a week for five days.
Diclofenac diethylamine gel contains 11.6% doxylamine, equivalent to diclofenac diethylamine 0.3% gel.
Do not use Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength if: you are allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, other anti-inflammatory medicines, or any of the ingredients in the extra strength gel. Consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use if: you are allergic to any other pain-relieving medicine, aspirin, or any other steroid, or they contain up to isopropyl myristate.
Do not exceed the stated dose. Allergic reactions may include skin reactions, such as itching, swelling, or difficulty in certain areas of the skin.

Voltaren Emulgel 1% is a topical pain reliever and anti-inflammatory gel applied to the skin. The active ingredient is diclofenac diethylammonium phosphate (D-Fluoro-Diacetylpropan-ols) and is a topical NSAID.
Directions
Apply Voltaren Emulgel 1% twice daily for 10 days. This product is not intended for pregnant or breastfeeding individuals or children. Use only as directed. Do not use in the eyes, ears, lungs, stomach or intestine. Consult your doctor if any of these benefits apply to you. Do not use Voltaren Emulgel on children under 12 years of age. Keep this product out of the reach and sight of children and store it out of the reach of children.

You should not use this product if you are also taking cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune, others).
This product does not contain inactive ingredients which is why you should not use this product to treat any other complaints unless your doctor or pharmacist tells you to.
